PuK products are broadly compatible with tablets, but results may vary depending on these factors:
PuK Triggers
Tablet Bezel Width
The only factor which detirmines PuK Trigger compatibility with tablets is the size of the screen bezel (border). If the border is under 7mm thick you should have full compatibility.
PuK Thumbstick
Tablet Materials
The PuK Thumbstick attaches to devices using the included Anchor Magnet which connects to the rear of your device. The Anchor Magnet sticks best to glass and smooth, shiny plastic surfaces. Many tablets have a metallic surface on the rear which may not be ideal. This can cause your Thumbstick centralization to shift during gameplay, but don't worry, included with your PuK Thumbstick are two sticky disks which will prevent this Anchor drift from happening.
If you are experiencing ‘Anchor drift’ during play, take the included ‘Sticky Disk’ and place it on the back of your device as a home for your Anchor. The Smooth back of the ‘Sticky Disk’ creates a great surface for your Anchor to bind to. Run out of Sticky Disks? The smooth backing of a piece of ‘sellotape’ (or equivalent) works just as well.
PuK Grips?
PuK Grips can be attached to tablets in the same way you would with a phone, and you can use the PuK Thumbstick at the same time too, but due to the form factor of tablets you won't be able to reach the triggers at the top of the display so there's a trade off to choose from, Grips or Triggers.
We recommend a PuK Trigger and Thumbstick combo, like this:
