PUBG Mobile Starter settings
For controller players coming to PuK for the first time, we recommend these settings:
PuK Triggers Settings
(Scroll down for Thumbstick only recommended settings)
1. Go to Settings/ Controls/ Basic Controls
Select the following settings:
Display Left-Side Fire Button | Disable |
Bolt-Action Rifle & Crossbow Firing Mode | Tap |
Shotgun Firing mode | Tap |
Scope Mode | Hold |
Camera Rotation while ADS | Enable |
2. Go to Settings/ Controls/ Advanced Controls
Select the following options:
Jump/Climb |
Merge |
Merge Crouch and Prone |
Enable |
Slide (Arena, WOW) |
Enable |
Auto Jump |
Disable |
3. Go to Settings/ Customize Buttons/ Character
- Select Option 1
- Select 'Customize'
4. Organise your button layout
- Move the 'Crouch' button into Trigger position L1
- Move the 'ADS' Button into position L2
- Move the 'FIRE' button into position R2
- Move the 'Jump' button into position R1
- Make sure that your PuK Triggers align when in a comfortable position
- Organise the rest of your buttons and UI however you prefer
- Select 'SAVE'
PuK Thumbstick Settings
1. Go to Settings/ Controls/ Advanced Controls
Select the following setting:
Sprint Sensitivity | 83% (you can experiment with this. It defines how much you need to move the PuK Thumbstick forward before sprint is activated) |
2. Go to Settings/ Customize Buttons/ Character
- Select Option 1
- Select 'Cusomize'
3. Drag the 'Sprint lock' button up and out of the way
4. Go to Settings/ Customize Buttons/ Vehicles

5. Calibrate your display
Before you Jump into your first game, we need to recalibrate your display to make sure you don't get false inputs from your Thumbstick or Triggers. It takes 10 seconds!
- Load your game
- Attach all touch-interface devices (Triggers and PuK Thumbstick)
- Tap the power button to put the display to sleep (it’s ok if you need to shift a trigger sideways to gain access to the device power button)
- Wait 10 seconds
- Press the power button again to wake the phone and unlock if necessary
Calibration complete, game on!
